Care and Placement of your Hooked Rug Pieces
Running
Ridge Rugs are 100% wool yarn and are hand washable or dry
cleanable, but shaking outdoors is the best! When and if you
have clean snow available, 'gently' beating your rug into the snow
does an amazing job! Please don’t use a beater type vacuum, it
could severely damage your rug. Spot cleaning, hand washing,
and dry cleaning are all acceptable, but the least handling the
better. Always let air dry and never use a laundry dryer! Wool
is the most durable, resilient, natural fiber and will last for many
years with reasonable care.
Rugs displayed on tiles or hardwood floors should be
placed over an anti-skid rug backing cut to fit.
Attaching your rug to a wall can be accomplished several ways
depending on the size and weight of each piece. Running Ridge can
help you with suggestions based on your needs and preferences. |
